Webinar debates the position of Atlantic Basin countries in relation to global governance
"On March 28th, at 10 am, on the FGV YouTube channel, the Getulio Vargas Foundation's International Intelligence Unit (FGV IIU) will promote the webinar “Latin America and the Caribbean in the present World Disorder”.
The objective of the meeting is to stimulate high-level debate on topics relating to the role and contributions of Atlantic Basin countries to the global order, especially with regard to global governance.
Among the topics that will be debated are the place of Latin America and the Caribbean in the face of global disorder, the main actors and/or coalitions in the contemporary multilateral system; types of multilateral cooperation that are working or not in the Atlantic area; and the role international organizations will play in the 21st century.
The panel will be composed of ambassador Celso Amorim, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil (1993-1995 and 2003-2010) with comments and mediation by the director of FGV IIU, Renato Galvão Flôres Junior and professor at FGV EPGE.
