FGV IIU promotes closing event for the Jean Monnet Atlantic Network 2.0 project
On June 15, FGV IIU promoted the Jean Monnet Atlantic Network event: a debate on the Atlantic, which concludes the Jean Monnet Atlantic Network 2.0 project, a cycle of political analyzes and international partnerships carried out by the International Prospection and Intelligence Center of the Getulio Foundation Vargas (FGV IIU) over the last few years. The dynamics tooke place as follows: Panel 1: Presentation and conclusion of the project; Panel 2: General overview of Atlantic politics and Panel 3: Deepening the themes of the previous panel.
The guest speakers are: Carolina Boniatti Pavese (professor of International Relations at ESPM and coordinator of EU Green); Jamile Bergamaschine (professor of Law at UFMG), Marcelo Valença (professor of International Security at EGN), Paula W. Almeida (professor of International Law at FGV Rio and coordinator of EU – South America Global Governance) and Tanguy Baghdadi (professor of Relations Internationals at UVA and founder of Petit Journal). The moderation will be led by FGV IIU researcher, Leonardo Paz Neves.
The Jean Monnet Atlantic Network
Since 2016, under the European Union's Eramus+ programme, the Jean Monnet Atlantic Network has been fostering debate and cooperation between the following research institutes: IPRI-UNL (Portugal), CIDOB (Spain), CIDE (Mexico), PCNS ( Morocco) and IEE-ULB (Belgium). The network focuses on topics (Trade/Economy, Energy/Sustainability, Security/Inequality) of fundamental importance for actors in the Atlantic Basin region, which remains a central arena of globalization and global trends, and for the Union European, in particular.
