The last week of February #ExpertTalk promoted by the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences (Manav Rachna International Univertsity) hosts Leonardo Paz Neves, from FGV IIU, to answer the question: "Brics Expansion: Shift in Global Power?"

In Neves words, "the expansion of the BRICS group holds profound importance as it diversifies and strengthens the collective influence of emerging economies on the global stage. The latest expansion is important for it captures the 'zeitgeist' of our times. An expanded BRICS group offers us interest reflexions over its future significance: whether it is a challenge to the traditional Western-centric global order or if it is simply the symptom of a more balanced and multipolar world. Understanding what is the BRICS for each of its members (both old and new) is paramount for us to draw some conclusions over the role that the group will play in the future."
