Resumo: "This paper explores aspects of food insecurity, such as price hikes and food shortages, and their relations with political unrest and violent conflicts. It focuses on analysing the literature that studies the binomial food insecurity-violent conflict to establish a standpoint on recent events and their impact on food security.

"Most of the world efforts in order to decarbonize the energy sector are centred in policies to change the electricity matrix, reducing radically the participation of fossil fuelled thermal generation - replacing coal and oil by other sources.
