Experts discuss Blockchain’s contribution to the efficiency of renewable energy sources

The meeting is part of a series of initiatives on the subject, organized by the Regional Program on Energy Security and Climate Change in Latin America (EKLA) of Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung, a think tank based in Germany that holds various relationships with the NPII.

 

Leonardo Paz, a researcher from FGV’s International Intelligence Unit (NPII), participated in the event “Blockchain-Technology and Renewable Energy”, held on October 18-19 in Santiago, Chile.

The meeting is part of a series of initiatives on the subject, organized by the Regional Program on Energy Security and Climate Change in Latin America (EKLA) of Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung, a think tank based in Germany that holds various relationships with the NPII.

The event aimed to discuss how this new technology can contribute to initiatives on the increased efficiency and accountability of renewable energy sources.
